Daily half day snorkelling trip the Caye Caulker Marine reserve is one of the most popular daily activities on the islad. This 3-hour morning or afternoon tour with a licensed guide will point out the fascinating and abundant marine life around Caye Caulker. Three different snorkelling stops will take you to Shark and Stingray Alley, to the South Channel on reef, and to the Coral Gardens. A ‘must-do’ experience on your Caye Caulker vacation. Snorkel equipment included. Want to enjoy a longer day of snorkelling? The Hol Chan Marine Reserve snorkel trip is your best option. This is a 5 to 6 h ours trip to one of the most active underwater highways for sea life. The different stops on this trip will give you the opportunity to swim with sharks, stingrays, turtles, and a wide variety of marine creatures. Come and submerge yourself into a new world, experience the beauty of the magnificent coral formations at the Meso-American Barrier Reef, the second largest in the world.
Hol Chan Marine Park and San Pedro, Ambergris Caye
A full day tour taking you to Hol Chan Marine Reserve, a protected marine sanctuary and the location of Shark and Ray Alley, where you will see friendly nurse sharks and stingrays. A stop at the Coral Gardens will allow you to see the marine life in its natural habitat. Lunch along with some other refreshments are included.
Manatees and St Georges Caye
A quick 40 minutes speed boat ride will have you at Swallow Caye where you can observe the endangered manatees. Your guide will show you the gentle behaviour of these sea creatures. After your encounter, you will head for St Georges Caye for some snorkelling and some fun in the sun. This is a full-day tour starting 9:00 am and returning at 5:00 pm. Lunch, snacks and refreshments are included.
Local Reef Caye Caulker
This 3 hour morning or afternoon tour with licensed guide will point out the fascinating and abundant marine life around Caye Caulker. Three different snorkelling stops will take you to Shark and Stingray Alley, to the local reef and to the Coral Gardens. A ‘must-do’ experience on your Caye Caulker vacation. Snorkel equipment included. Morning 10:30 to 1:30 or afternoon 2:00 to 5:00. Underwater camera highly recommended.
